Position Staff Pharmacist
Job Summary The Staff Pharmacist assists the Pharmacy Manager in supervising staff personnel by maintaining the established department goals; establishes goals and safety regulations for the Pharmacy along with the manager; provides Pharmacist services including counsel of patients, consultation on pharmacy matters with physicians,filing RX orders, and reviewing technicians RX filings.
Qualifications Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy
Current State Pharmacy License
Basic computer skills and good understanding of the retail pharmacy computer system
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Job Functions Patient consultation
Receive new scripts via telephone
Run Saturday reports
DUR and warning assessment
Input data into computer
Final check on all scripts
Maintain inventory control
Profit and loss responsibility
Maintain daily register reports
Open cash register
Count, pour, label and certify finished prescriptions
